Good price and handheld. But the selection of games is not good for me.

I will stay with emulation if I want these Megadrive games on a portable system :)

A mobile phone company here (Brazil) gives this Mega Drive when you sign their services. But i prefer the Picodrive in PSP/Symbian plataforms... is much more flexible.

i still have my gamegear laying around in my closet somewhere. i remember playing x-men on that thing for hours on end...... and i remember the amount of batteries, 6 AAA's, my mom got mad cuz i went through all of our batteries so much, haha. good times playing with that thing when i was 4.

Phantasy Star was released on Master System (Except if you're talking about the japanese-only version on Megadrive)

The button layout of the russian thing is uber hehe. I would buy the thing, are the cartridges in any way rewritable and do they provide game save?

The software line up really isn't that bad, but again, I'd rather emulate, at least on the XBOX emu you can keep games from slowing down that slowed down on the real hardware. I'm sure some of the PC based emus have that feature too, which to me is better than having the real thing!

If it had more Sonic's, Revenge of Shinobi, and maybe Gunstar Heroes then I'd definitely buy it.

But I myself would rather just get PicoDrive and a PSP.

More Sonic's? Why? Each Sonic it the same regurgitated crap. Just have Sonic 2 and Sonic 2 w/Knuckels

I'd buy one of these if I didn't have a homebrew'd PSP; and almost all of those games in both Cartridge and ROM form. As for those cartridges- time to find my megadrive and get playing 'em, methinks.

I just bought a Master Gear Converter for my Game Gear so I am going to be playing Phantasy Star on the go with that for awhile. So I will hold off on buying ANOTHER handheld.

....I wish my damn battery pack would still recharge though....that's a drag.

I dunno. I bought a clearanced priced Master System game player at Target for like nothing. Maybe they will pick up something like this?

I would have got this but because I live in Scotland there's no option for calculating the shipping costs, they just have England!
