sweet.
i don't really see why dax keeps working on his driver though, the sony driver seams to work perfectly for everything i've tried

I've found it to be more stable on some games. Hardly noticable though. Might just to be so he can say he did.

This might be a noobish question, but i'm running 3.71 m33-4.
Is there a difference between m33-3 and m33-4? or can i go straight to 3.90.

first off don't bother asking to get a staff position

if they see that you are trying hard to deliver news quick and efficiently then they will ask you to be part of a news position

and sometimes they don't even need new news posters (might want to ask them that as i don't know the current situation)

just keep doing what you're doing, believe me they'll notice

im just too lazy to update to this firmware, sure dax is doing it for fun and i support him (because what if he moves onto other console which doesn't have an iso loader made by the company?) but as a user of custom firmware this update isnt NEEDED right now

All updates are welcome. Playing CSOs using the Sony No-UMD driver on 3.90 M33(-->) can be choppy, I've heard, so improvements to DAX' own is good.

I have not seen those newsposts as they seem to be deleted, but you should be aware that post quality is to be preferred over post time. Posting news first won't get you glory or whatever you're seeking, and no one can steal "your" news in that sense. Baboon posted a good news post. The staff probably preferred it over yours.

I beg to differ; the 3.90 update increased support for PSN titles (which means updated support for the PSOne emulator on the PSP).

And updates to how PSOne games run is always good in my book.

Yes, put this on my PSP last night and up from 3.71 M33-2.

So far so good. Thank you, DAX.

I downloaded this hoping it would fix my crisis core ISO from running a little choppy and to stop it from skipping from time to time, but that didnt work out so well

Crisis Core iso was choppy for me too, converted to CSO (compression level 9) & it seems to work fine but i have no idea why.(3.80m33-4, no-umd sony np9660 driver, 333mHz in umd/iso)

This is awesome. Nothing like seeing new activity from Dark_AleX. I recommend everyone apply the 3.71 fatmsmod patch also by Dark_AleX.

yes ive confirmed it on my psp, well April 2 is really March 33, March 31 + add 2 then equals March 33 which is April 2, check it on your date on your psp, its back to 3/33

March 31 + 2 = March 33 = M33 =

no there's no need to downgrade to 3.90m33-2, be lucky if you witness the glitch or whatever in your psp, at April 3 your psp will back to normal, try it your self if it has not yet Aril 2 in your country, set your date and time to April 2, then shutdown psp, then see if all in your system information changes, but after that date, all backs to normal.

I have 3.71 firmware and I didn't update to 3.90 because I though DAX was going to include the 3.71 fatsmod patch into hes next update. Does anyone know if this is included? Also I think I remember there is also some other patch to add to 3.90 to make 100% preformance perfect. But I cant be sure.

Uh, not sure if this a common problem but none of my game saves work any more?
Went from 3.52 M33-5 to 3.90-3 and now everything's apparently corrupt...

Ever since I upgrade to the M33 custom firmwares several games will no longer work for me; Ultimate GnG and Harvest Moon. I'm currently running 3.90 M33-3, still not working..

The firmware is great tho otherwise; very happy to see it's continued on.

Hi all, just upgraded my virgin 1.5 PSP yesterday, been wanting to do it for a long time now but didn't have the cojones to do it...so finally here I am on 3.52 M33-4 and it's The Mierda so far but my questions are 1st and foremost did I pick a great custom firmware to start with or should I upgrade some more or stay on a certain one. Can anyone suggest a manual or something that describes what I can do with custom firmware and how to use it? Last but not least what happens if I were to restore default setting via XMB or change to another memory stick, oh and what's wrong with the LocationFree Player...By the way DAX is The Mierda. Thanx for your time.

Uh huh, there's no need for it considering there's newer custom firmware for the PSP.

With that said, thread closed.
