I've found this hack in five minute so i return on my downgrader.

How To Run

Unrar the file and put the Folders into : X:/PSP/GAMES/Then follow the instructions on the screen

START : Quit without change
Square : Trick to Firm v1.0
Circle : Back to Firm v1.5
Cross : Trick to Firm v1.52
Triangle : Trick to Firmware v2.0

When is done you can go to System Settings =>
System Information and Check Your System Version :=)

Good to know for UMD Videos, but I still don't see how someone would pay 20€ for a UMD Video whereas you could get the DVD version for the same amount.

By the way Medievil: Resurrection EUR works fine using that tool to trick the PSP (PSP-1000 JAP v1.50) into v1.52. Retail UMD if someone ask. And yes homebrew still works after using that tool (which only changes the version number afaik).

Unfortunately this still doesn't work on v1.0 it seeems.

It's was scary so i tried to change my 1.50 to 1.0 first.
Ok It worked nice

I tried to 1.52
It worked.

Only problem You have to run it again to get it back to 1.50.

All the 1.50 hombrew games still worked in all settings.
But at setting 1.0 you still can't run 1.0 homebrew..
I guess it's only good for the games that check your system. firmware

I truly hope that Grand Theft Auto LCS won't be using any new features or functions that need firmware 2.0. If it did, it would most likely crash.

Yes, I have the Japanese PSP-1000 which was a 1.0 upgraded to 1.50. I bought Medievil : Resurection EUR and tried to play it and it displayed "You must upgrade your software" crap. So I used the WAB Version Changer v2 (the 2.5 was not available at that moment) to switch the version number of my PSP to v1.52. Now the game plays wonderfully and all homebrew still work.

I cannot help you with the other four games you are asking for because I don't have them.

Try using your PSP for 15 minutes or so without it plugged in. Usually it has to be actually charging for any kind of flash updates to work. If your battery is full, it's no longer charging

I've already tried to unrar them on the X:\PSP\Game and on my PSP appears to icons, one is the WAB icon and the other one is mentioned as a corrupted data. How should i install this???

It's only for 1.50 or 1.0.
It may show up on 1.51 or higher but will not run

You must have the PSP "yellow" charging light on it for it to work.
If you battery is fully charged at 100% it will not work.
It will give you the message to plug your ac cable in.

I read some things that said that WAB V2 would brick the psp if you try to actually update a new version. Does V2.5 fix this? Please only respond if you're sure or have a link or something.

Also, could someone explain why the wab website(wab.com) downloads section makes no sense, with all those heart monitor lines and shit. Thanks.

I downgraded my psp firmware from 2.0 to 1.5 to use emulators and then i use this program to trick it to think its running 2.0 so i can play Grand Theft Auto: LCS and it has the white psp loading screen then turns black.. and then an error comes up saying: The game could not be started. (FFFFFED3) :confused:

so now to play it .. i'd have to update to 2.0 but then i cant use the emulators..

is there any way around this so i can play GTA and the emulators too?

please help me out here..

I first used version changer 2 and on my demo disk which regquires 1.52 the games demos worked but not the movie and music demos ( its said "the disk cannot be played ). So i changed to the 2.5 version changer hoping that it would solve this (australian psp by the way) and it gave the same result
