So yeah, I just went mad with it, just trying things out..

I think that's not too bad for a first test run actually. I like the bit to the right, makes a good pattern.

Keep working with it. The pen is a great asset if you can use it.

Like he said. Also very useful if you want to get into vector art/design or producing clean clipping paths round objects in photo editing software.

Another tip, Don't use ANY solid colors.
Even if it is only a slight one, use a gradient on EVERYTHING.
-The background
-All the shapes
-The border
-Even the text
-Everything.
That alone will make this sig look a lot more contrasted, colorful, and better in general.

well pretty much everything.
and i laugh at the irony of your current sig being made of almost all gradients and you saying that its no good.

lol, i thought that it was pretty ironic after i'd posted.
is was just the look i was going for. :cool: gradients are not always to be used when designing in vector
