Rovio has announced Angry Birds Transformers for mobile devices.
While the franchise has recently spawned karting (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/433873/video-angry-birds-migrate-to-kart-racing-genre-in-new-rovio-game/) and RPG (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/453593/angry-birds-epic-revealed-as-rpg-adventure/) spin-offs, Angry Birds Transformers is expected but not confirmed to offer more traditional bird-flinging gameplay.

Over one million Telepods were sold in the first month after they debuted alongside Angry Birds Star Wars 2 last October.
"We're really excited to combine the iconic Transformers universe with the quirky world of Angry Birds" said Rovio chief marketing officer Blanca Juti. "This mash-up is going to appeal to those who grew up with the brand in the 80s, as well as fans of the brand today."
Hasbro chief marketing officer John Frascotti added: "We collaborated with Rovio to create opportunities for kids and families to experience Autobirds and Deceptihogs across multiple formats and entertainment platforms, for a completely immersive branded experience."
