yeah i rather boot zelda TP than installing this..
they should focus on how to get saving to work on front SD instead of making this useless sh*t.

Um, where's the source code? SNES9x is open source.

it wouldn't be so good to release the source for the makers, cus then you could remove the limitations (shouldn't be there from the beginnig anyway!) and build it, if you know how to code that stuff;)

don't tell me that you're actually going to try this??! vicious 1988.

You guys don't seem to understand that they're not "adding" the limitations. It's a problem caused by not being able to sign the channel in the ways nessicary to keep it running.

ok.. now i see, but anyways, i won't try it.. so it's a bug in the trucha signer, or cus i'ts in very early development? does it even use trucha exploit? i can't remember..

Is there a way to install this using the Twilight Hack? Also, if you want the limitations removed, figure out how to make your own homebrew channel.

"Permission to use, copy, modify and/or distribute Snes9x in both binary and source form, for non-commercial purposes, is hereby granted without fee, providing that this license information and copyright notice appear with all copies and any derived work."

An open source project does not necessarily mean that all derivative works must provide their source code as well.

Actually, that license seems to mean that any derivative works must also be open source. I'm avoiding installing any homebrew channels until I can be sure I won't brick my Wii with an update later on, it's too risky at this point until we know more about what future updates can do.

Nintendo will in no way shape or form purposely brick your Wii for any reason what so ever. It is against the law for them to do so.

They do however have the right to block you from playing online or browsing the shops. I doubt they'd do the latter though, because they'd be losing out on money. Online play brings no profit for them, until the pay-to-play games start showing up.

I suppose that means we'll have Wii WoW any time now. :p
