Apple's recent (http://www.engadget.com/2013/08/19/apple-hires-nike-fuelband-advisor-jay-blahnik/) hires (http://www.engadget.com/2013/09/27/apple-hires-nike-fuelband-designer-ben-shaffer/) in wearable tech have largely taken place outside the watch industry, which is slightly odd for a company rumored to be making a watch (http://www.engadget.com/2014/06/20/apple-iwatch-october-launch-ten-sensors/) of its own. However, it just addressed that discrepancy in style -- LVMH's watch division hasconfirmed (http://9to5mac.com/2014/07/04/apple-hires-patrick-pruniaux-vp-of-tag-heur-sales-and-retail-for-iwatch-marketing/) that Apple has snagged Patrick Pruniaux (https://www.linkedin.com/pub/patrick-pruniaux/0/478/388), TAG Heuer's sales and retail VP, as part of a broader campaign to poach talent from watchmakers. We've reached out to Apple to learn more about its plans, but LVMH group head Jean-Claude Biver tells (http://www.cnbc.com/id/101812950)CNBC that Pruniaux will be working on the "iWatch." Clearly, the team in Cupertino wants someone who can market wristwear to a large audience.

Have to admit I'm intrigued to see what the 'iWatch' will be like when it is finally made
