Today sees a new release of the Gameboy emulator for Ipod Linux (http://sourceforge.net/projects/iboy/) thats a port of gnuboy, a gpl gameboy emulator written in C, whats new in this release is:
added: aegrays COP stuff and asm cpu for arm7tdmi (still buggy, some roms already work)
huge code cleanups, bit more performance
