In association with NESdev.com (http://www.nesdev.com/) DCEvolution.net proudly presents you another great release of our DreamEmulation Project series: This time it's our ultimate tribute to NINTENDO (http://www.nintendo.com/)'s classic 8-bit system and the incredible scene that takes care of keeping our childhood memories alive.

The image has been in development for a very long time and got support from many people of the Dreamcast and the NES scenes. And it shows: After downloading and unpacking you get an image filled with 370 MByte NES goodies bringing back those nostalgic feelings.

There's really no disc space wasted, certainly not with what it's filled with:
- High quality image menu system (artwork by Mikey242)
- Background info on the NES, its homebrew scene and more
- 32 original classic NES TV commercials
- 57 MP3 tracks, including five complete records
- 180 free NES games and demos, lots of them previously unreleased!
- 230 NES Music ROMs featuring original compositions & remixes
- FSL Menu Theme Selector and six different NesterDC themes to choose
- 110% compatible for browsing the image on your PC too!

But this release is not only a tribute to the NES, it's also our definite tribute to NesterDC: With this release we say 'Good Bye' to Takayama Fumihiko's greatly improved port of Nester, that served our needs for exactly three years now, and 'Hello' to NesterDC SE (http://www.sch3rz0.com/nesterdcse/wip_features.php), the forthcoming update of everyone's favorite NES emulator by Scherzo.

Wait no longer and rush to this page (http://www.dcevolution.net/goto.php?id=65), with more info, screenshots and the download of 324MB (found at the right menu).

Like this one? Then also try our previous DreamEmulation Project releases:

Friggin' beautiful!

I've been losing sleep over this thing. The addition of the TV commercials and soundtracks is a VERY welcome bonus!

on one note, yay for this release. on another note, we shouldn't be saying good-bye so quickly nor hello so fast, as this is the one that is out right now, not se, and we need not pressure scherzo. enjoy nesterdc6, it works and is playable now.

Thanks for your comments so far :)

Obelisk, what we meant when we wrote 'Hello Nester SE' & 'Good Bye NesterDC' is that DCEvolution won't do another NES release until Nester SE is released, and that this release is DCEvolution's tribute to NesterDC ;)

However you're 100% correct. NesterDC is what we have right now and it's great! Nester SE is still WIP and won't be released for a long time so let's enjoy what we have and big thanks to Scherzo for working hard on Nester SE. He really deserves it for improving this fantastic emulator that much.

Sorry to bump this old topic, but I thought I should leave a note that we removed our Anti-Leeching script. Now everyone should be able to download from DCEvo without any problems :)
