xbox live for xbox 1

Hi everyone. I have my original xbox downstairs in the family room, but my orange livebox is in the room next to it. I am not allowed to have a cable trailing all the way from one room to the other. So what options do i have of playing xbox live on my xbox 1:confused::confused::confused:

There's a wireless adapter for the Xbox that came out a while ago.
