Playing MP4 on PSP

ive downloaded a movie which is a MP4 file and i renamed it to.. M4V00002.MP4 but when i got play it i get this messages..

The video cannot be played
the data type is not compatable

any suggestions ???

possibly wrong compression, are you sure that you uploaded in right folder? (X:\MP_ROOT\100MNV01)

yep its in that folder

what compression does it need to be ????

depends on ur psp version. afaik 2.0 psps are able to play mp4, though i suggest u have a 1.5 version

go to www.pspvideo9.com download that
it'll convert it right, along with any other video format

Or you could use 3GP converter, set to right setting it will be the best conversion tool you have ever used.
