At last, the first footage from Rockstar's wildly anticipated GTA PSP debut, Liberty City Stories, has appeared and is available for download at the foot of this very page.

While not showing any in-game footage, a montage of cutscenes from the game gives a glimpse of some of the characters that will appear, including lead mobster, Toni Cipriani.

Based on events three years before GTA 3, Liberty City Stories follows the violent exploits of Cipriani as he wages war on the streets of LC in an effort to establish himself as a big fromage on the criminal cheese board.

They keep on changing the release date so... I don't think that a date has been set. I remember back when it was supposedly being released in April... I had it reserved and everything...

burnout comes out soon, should keep me occupied till its released ;)

There was at one time a release date of Sept. 1 here in the US. Well, that came and went and now it's at the end of October. So, we'll see. I'd rather they get it right than rush a release to be honest, even though I am chomping at the bit. Has anyone seen any confimred screen shots of actual gameplay though? If this is a top-down.. it will by MY "top-downer" of the year :)

http://www.gtaportable.com/videos --- there are three different gameplay videos, all ripped from the official site using a flash decompiler. So, it is definitely not "top-down".
