High-end racing-wheel (http://www.engadget.com/2011/11/24/edit-fanatec-forza-motorsort-csr-wheel-and-elite-pedals-review/) outfit Fanatec isn't going to leave Xbox gamers high and dry, though. The outfit's recently announced (https://www.facebook.com/Fanatec/posts/720679831341349)that it'll soon release a "Fanatec wheel base" that allows you to plug in its existing lines (http://www.engadget.com/2011/01/21/fanatec-porsche-gt2-wheel-and-clubsport-pedals-review/)of pricey Xbox 360 racing wheels (http://www.engadget.com/2009/11/19/fanatec-porsche-911-turbo-wheel-for-xbox-360-review/), shifters and pedal sets (http://www.engadget.com/2012/04/27/fanatec-clubsport-pedals-v2-racing-sim/) into it and use them with Microsoft's newest gaming system. The outfit's also apparently closed a licensing deal with Redmond to bring new racing gear to the Xbox One (http://www.engadget.com/2013/11/20/microsoft-xbox-one-review/) as well. Considering the newly released Forza Horizon 2 (http://www.engadget.com/2014/09/26/playdate-forza-horizon-2/) and the upcoming The Crewand Project Cars, this should all be good news to virtual gearheads. Here's to hoping a company steps up and does something similar for PlayStation 4 (http://www.engadget.com/2013/11/14/sony-playstation-4-review/) owners soon, too.
