A number of big retailers have cut $20 off the price of the PlayStation TV in the US.
VG247 (http://www.vg247.com/2015/01/08/playstation-tv-price-cut-us/) reports that Amazon, GameSpot and Best Buy have all cut the $100 entry-level SKU to $80 while the $140 value bundle has been reduced to $100. It doesn’t appear to be an official price drop, although who knows what deals are being offered by official distributors.
In the UK PlayStation TV still retails for the £84.99 (http://www.mcvuk.com/news/read/playstation-tv-will-cost-84-99-in-the-uk/0133905) it launched at on November 14th.
The device, which was rebranded after initially being unveiled as the PlayStation Vita TV (http://www.mcvuk.com/news/read/sony-reveals-playstation-vita-tv-microconsole/0120716), is still lacking many features in the West compared to the services Sony has tied up in Japan.
