Cant read Memory Card?

Hi Guys,

My first post here so im sorry if this is in the wrong section.

I bought a gig Sony HighSpeed card from Japland a while ago which has been working fine but all of a sudden half way thru playing an MP3 it says that it cant read the card and to format it.

When I go to format it, it states 'format failed 8022008B' has anyone else come across this who knows whats caused it and how to get around it?

Ive got ano mem card which I was going to try and copy the basic format files over in hope that it will allow the PsP to read it again without losing everything.
