The unfortunate region lock situation surrounding Nintendo's Humble Nindie Bundle promotion is something the company hopes to change, a Nintendo of America rep claims.
Damon Baker – an employee of Nintendo of America's marketing department – said as much on Twitter (https://twitter.com/DWBakes/status/603279625666433024), explaining the company spent months trying to make the offer global.
Baker added that there's still a possibility of the Nindie Bundle's region lock being lifted. As of today, there's still 12 more days left in the promo's run.
The Humble Nindie Bundle (http://www.mcvuk.com/news/read/nintendo-and-humble-team-up-for-humble-nindie-bundle/0150014) launched earlier this week, featuring a mix of 3DS and Wii U digital offerings for various price levels. The bundle is currently available only in North, Central and South America (except Brazil).
