Im not sure if im allowed to talk about this on here, so im sorry im im out of line.

I have a question regarding firmware update issues with legit backups of umd's.
If one was to backup an umd to place on the owners memory stick, how does the firmware update work? (if it has one).
Would the file created by the backup (im guessing *.iso) contain the firmware update? Im not sure how actually umd's work, is there a seperate file of the firmware on the umd?
What im a bit confused about, if the case is that a firmware file is not included in the backed up image, would the firmware not actually update its self if a warning is given?

Sorry if this was a bit of a dumb question but im curious.

I'll try and answer this as carefully as I can, as I've come close to being in trouble in few posts today hehe.

A backup game will be an exact copy of the UMD it came from. I wont go into any more detail unless a mod allows me to.

if you wanna play new games without getting your firmware changed, just use the WAB version changer
