First, Bungie announced the game's next big expansion (http://www.engadget.com/2015/06/15/destiny-expansion-the-taken-king-arrives-september-15th/), then it revealed some of its content would be exclusive to a pricey $80 collector's edition -- even if you already owned the base game. There was anger, rebellion, Red Bull product tie-ins (no,really (http://www.engadget.com/2015/06/24/bungie-destiny-red-bull-dlc/)) and, eventually, a mea culpa (http://www.engadget.com/2015/06/24/bungie-the-taken-king-apology/) that made the exclusive content available to everyone as separate DLC. Huzzah! Now Destiny players can get everything without buying content twice. Well, unless they want the limited editionDestiny PlayStation 4 (http://blog.us.playstation.com/2015/07/07/limited-edition-destiny-the-taken-king-ps4-bundle-out-this-september/) -- then they're screwed again.
