no you'll need to do the tp hack or find an iso witch u prbly wont

Can the iso be loaded via the GC loader as you can make an iso from the GC tools?

yes
you can load through gc on a normal disc size even instead of gc tiny discs

But i am pretty sure you won't be able to install a homebrew channel from gc mode.
