Tonight, we get an email from another Xbox Live user whose gamertag has been barred because it violates XBL policies. The incriminating gamertag? RichardGaywood. The problem here? It's the gamertag of a Mr. Richard Gaywood, a now-disgruntled 360 owner from the UK (and yes, we've confirmed this is his real name).

His parents must have really hated him :o(
I mean, "Dick" Gay-wood! And there are still parents who name their children Richard Head for crying out loud.

But still, I can't see how anyone can take Mr Gaywood's tag as offensive.

Pfff, this is ridiculous, that gamertag doesn't really sound offensive. The Xbox Live management team seem to be going rather over the top on this whole issue.
