coc4tm (http://wiiubrew.org/wiki/User:Coc4tm) has released OurLoader for the Wii U which helps get around the annoying region locking on consoles, heres more details:
Ourloader is an application that enables playing retail Wii U discs from other another region, also known as freeloading (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wii_Freeloader). This circumvents region-locking.
