A new video from the Theme Park Worldwide team:
Back in September 2016 Blackpool Pleasure Beach announced that they were going to build a brand new roller coaster manufactured by Mack Rides. In this series of videos we'll be following the build of Icon with numerous updates from the site at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Icon will reach heights of 88.5ft with drops of up to 82ft. It will interact 15 times with five other Blackpool Pleasure Beach rides including the iconic Big One, Steeplechase, Big Dipper, Pleasure Beach Express and the Grand Prix.In this update we see all of the track now in place for both the zero-g-roll and incline loop for Icon. We also share footage of more supports going into place for the section of track that will interact between The Big Dipper and Steeplechase. As the countdown begins ready for the opening of the park next week we also pick up our season passes, see The Big One testing and much more in our most action packed update so far!
