I am a massive fan of the Beer Industry having done a 5 year stint working on the BWS Dept at one of the big 4 supermarkets, for me though theres more that supermarkets can do to bring the customers in to spend more but also try new products.

Lets look at Real Ales, Beers and Ciders.

We need more themed releases, at present some supermarkets do have Valentines, Halloween and Xmas Beers

We need Beers etc for every big retail push of the year, ie

Fathers Day
Easter
Mothers Day
Spring
Summer
Autumn
Winter
New years
Xmas
Halloween
Bonfire
Valentines
Beers of regions such as England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, and counties such as Yorkshire etc

Also more beer festivals, they bring shoppers in, whilst the normal ranges keep the punters coming back new beers enable fans to try from brewerys they would never usually get the chance to try from.

Moving onto Spirits, Irish Cream Liquers are massive and the release from Baileys of the Strawberry version was a massive hit, think of own brand versions of this, halloween versions and different themed versions throughout the year?

Just my wish list as a fan.
