m64p (2019/01/26) is released. m64p uses mupen64plus-gui, a brand new mupen64plus frontend written in Qt5. It supports all thing things you’d expect from a frontend (savestate management, pausing, screenshots, etc..). m64p comes bundled with GLideN64 for the graphics plugin. It should give you the best out-of-the-box experience available for N64 gaming.

Sadly, it seems like this will be the final freely available version of the emulator. From now on, further updates will only be available to patrons. Even though it's only $1, I really hope he will consider a different approach, perhaps delaying a free release for a month or 2 while patrons get the latest version immediately, at that price. I'm sure that would still work (you know how people are - wanting the latest version number without anything meaningful in the changelog) so everyone wins.
