The first ever footage of a game running on PlayStation 5 hardware has appeared online, but it doesn’t focus on what you might think. Instead of showing off amazing new visuals and graphical tricks it’s solely concerned with load times, with a comparison video between Marvel’s Spider-Man running on a PS4 Pro and next gen hardware (Sony has still yet to use the name ‘PlayStation 5’ to describe their new console). Loading that takes over eight seconds on the PS4 Pro takes less than one second on the PlayStation 5. Moving at high speed on the Pro causes hiccups while the game pauses to load in a new area of the map, while the PlayStation 5 continues on without any pause.
