newbie, how to start gps on psp 3.90 m33?

hi, i have 3.90 -m33 on my phat psp and i just recieved the gps device from ebay and now i dont know how to start it. ive been browsing through this site as i think it has the stuff for my gps to work but seriously i am really lost....so if anyone can guide me on programs i need to install much appreciated.
