Barely a week since launch, and the Nintendo Switch Lite has already been added to the class action lawsuit against Nintendo over "drifting" Joy-Con controllers.
The lawsuit was brought against Nintendo back in July (https://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/2019-07-22-nintendo-faces-class-action-lawsuit-over-joy-con-drifting-defect) after consumers reported the Joy-Con analogue sticks were registering input commands that hadn't been issued.
Since the problem was first highlighted, Nintendo announced it was offering free repairs (https://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/2019-07-24-nintendo-is-reportedly-offering-free-repairs-for-joy-con-controllers), with no proof of purchase or warranty required.
