Chessington has announced that they will open a new Rainforest area in 2020 that will include three rides: Jungle Rangers, River Rafts and Treetop Hoppers. Jungle Rangers is actually an updated version of an existing ride (Toadie’s Crazy Cars), and River Rafts will be a mini-log flume that previously run at SEA LIFE Adventure Park as Crocodile Creek. According to a post at Themeparks-UK (https://www.themeparks-uk.com/chessington-world-of-adventures-guide/news/990-rainforest-area-new-at-chessington-world-of-adventures-in-2020) the Treetop Hoppers ride is also an existing park attraction. They also report that the park’s Flying Jumbos ride will be relocated to a new area in the park for 2020 and have the name slightly changed to Elmer’s Flying Jumbos to be themed to the children’s book, Elmer the Patchwork Elephant.
