While other companies appear to be distancing themselves from early June after COVID-19 forced E3 2020's cancellation, EA at least is still going forward with its plans.
The publisher has announced that EA Play Live will take place on Thursday, June 11 at 4:00 p.m. PT, featuring a live broadcast, community content, and world premieres of upcoming games.
EA has been holding its own E3-adjacent event since 2016 (https://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/2016-01-27-no-e3-booth-for-ea-this-year), when it declined to have a booth on the show floor and instead began hosting a multi-day festival in LA in a separate location.
