View Full Version : You can now play Super Mario 64 on PC in widescreen thanks to a fanmade port

A new project has been released, likely making use of the public decompilation of Super Mario 64 (https://gbatemp.net/threads/super-mario-64s-source-code-has-been-decompiled-and-officially-released.546814/). The game has been fully ported over to PC, bringing some brand new features to the decades-old game, such as 4K upscaling, analog camera control, and widescreen support. This fanmade PC version of Super Mario 64 runs off DirectX 12, and can be played from start to finish. Download links cannot be shared, but you can see someone playing the first 10 minutes of the port in a YouTube video below. You can also share your thoughts in the discussion thread.
