How does Freenode suck? Freenode has services -- we don't have to keep our room full of bots that just make the room look like it actually has people in it. We also don't get nearly as many warezers that randomly pop in. Also, there's no chance that anyone's going to be able to take over the channel by an accidental action of an op (SecureOps is set on #dcemuuk, so we don't have to worry about the chance of Xylene (or anyone else) coming in, acting like Wraggster, gaining ops, and taking over the channel; which has happened more than once).

I fail to see how EFnet, with its lack of services, lack of SecureOps, and multitude of warezers is better than Freenode.

If you're just upset about those that didn't follow us to the new channel, take it up with them. Its not the network's fault that people are stubborn.

Freenode is good and I'm glad there's no need for the use of bots to maintain ops in the channel as the IRC service does that. Sure it's usually Quietville in there but it was just pretty much the same back on Efnet. In short, I'm happy with where we are on Freenode.
