Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales sold 4.1 million units worldwide in a month and a half.
Having launched on November 12, Insomniac's game had shifted these copies by December 31, 2020, Sony said in its earnings call (https://www.sony.net/SonyInfo/IR/library/presen/er/pdf/20q3_sonyspeech.pdf).
Spider-Man: Miles Morales was the PS5's biggest launch game (https://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/2020-11-22-spider-man-miles-morales-is-ps5s-biggest-launch-game-as-call-of-duty-grabs-no-1-uk-boxed-charts) in the UK, though sales didn't quite reach the height of 2018's Marvel's Spider-Man in the country. The title debuted at No.3 (https://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/2020-11-15-assassins-creed-valhalla-beats-call-of-duty-in-race-for-no-1-uk-boxed-charts) in the UK charts, with 71% of its sales going to PS5. Sales for the title were boosted around Christmas (https://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/2020-12-20-assassins-creed-valhalla-takes-christmas-no-1-as-cyberpunk-2077-falls-to-third-uk-boxed-charts), with a 45% rise that helped it climb to No.6.
