Improvements look good.

I think copying the xbox achievement things was just a matter of time. It's good though, my freind has a ps3 whilst i have a 360 and he was always jealous of me being able to collect achievements :p

In-game xmb looks sweet. Still a lack of quality games though, maybe they should look into spending more time on that than the firmware :p

Does anyone know how to change the controller settings that the normal PS button menu brought up? Now that it brings you to XMB, I don't see how we'll have access to this.

Short press for in-game XMB, long press for the old menu.

Indeed it looks good. It hasn't looked choppy to me but I'm just pissed off that we have to depend on the developers to patch their games now. lol
