Jockyw2001 (http://forums.ps2dev.org/viewtopic.php?t=3571) has translated to English the PSP Media Player that was released last week, this player plays AVIs, Mpegs and much more.

I've seen two different references to the language of the original version so far and both were wrong. The original language of this program is Korean. :) Just a little PSA.

*Edit: Put the videos in the /PSP/VIDEO/ directory. No, its not a standard directory, you have to create it. As far as "one file" goes, you'll have to be just a bit more specific.

do you mean the tgz file? its a zipped archive. unpack it with winrar, and you get a .tar archive. unrar this and you get the normal exploit structure

Thanks! When I unrared from the gz file, the resulting file had no extension. Giving it .tar as you suggested has let me untar it. Cheers mate.

Are there any players like this that can read files over the Wi-Fi as to not waste precious MS space?

No music required.

Though I have not installed this yet it seems straight forward enough. I would redownload first off. If you just have just the EBOOT.PBP then your copy is incomplete if you ask me. The archive from wraggster's link in the first post of this thread looks good. Has a background file, font, and it shouldn't even need Kxploit since it already has the dummy PBP created within the % folder.

1) extract the TAR from the TGZ
2) extract the 'PMP' folder from the TAR file
3) Copy the PMP and PMP% folders to your memory stick in PSP\GAME

Should be it.
