The Halo and Fable universes aren't nearly close enough for us to be expecting crossovers of the 'Master Chief and Chicken Chaser at the Olympic Games' scale, but it looks like a cool collaboration between the two Microsoft franchises has already happened.
The suspicious Fable II screenshot on the right of this page arrived our way this morning, from Lionhead fan site Loinhead.net, who no doubt has been contacted by the developer itself.
In the words of fan site 'Loinhead', the image comes "suspiciously close to the announcement of the Collector's Edition," which was detailed earlier this week.
In case you're going a bit blind from playing videogames too much (let's hope the Daily Mail doesn't read this), the screenshot shows a bloke in Master Chief Spartan armour playing the Lute. Not something the Chief regularly gets up to in the Halo series.
Lionhead told us it "can't comment" on the attached screenshot, but going from the hints we can assume that this cool little cameo is part of the "additional content" promised for the Collector's Edition of Fable II, which also comes with a bonus disk and figurine. Though that's a guess.
