Sorry but this version have more bugs of beta 2, i have tested a lot of games and i have find more problems.

EXAMPLE

Magician lord, (the sound is alternate, but the terrible problem is the bug of comands, when you play casually you can't go UP or DOWN the comand don't respond) in beta 2 the comands work perfect.

SAMURAI SPIRIT 2 (lost all, FX and SOUND, totally MUTE"
KOF 95 (SAME BUG problems of comands UP and DOWN)
REAL BOUT 2 the newcomers (Problems of comands UP and DOWN, in beta 2 work perfect)
GALAXY FIGHT (same problems of beta 2, no FX)

i have not tested other games, but no like this version, sorry, the terrible problems are in the comands, for see play a lot at this games.

Good the improvement for loading system, but if you can' t play.
Don't hate me chui =) .

did you try to set the z80 to be at normal clock speed, that seems to usually fix problems. if not then it's probably due to the new threading system for cd and sound =\.

nothing i have tried, if put Z80 a normal SAMURAI SPIRIT 2 have terrible slowdown, and is mute =|, sorry but the beta 3 not is good.

have always the problems with comands UP and DOWN, tested the games wich i have write bye.

It's strange, yesterday i tested a lot of games without problems.
Maybe a stupid bug with AUTO_EVENTS flag. I will try patch this afternoon. Sorry.

Before than nothing, CHUI THX by the release.

We are carrying a pbm since last 10 days, Our hosting was hacked from USA and the plesk software and other things were down. The database was also damaged so we got a backup and as soon as possible will be up. We're working on it. We apologize by the delay, but there's nothing we can do if the fail or pbm is at the hosting, just cry, kick and pry.

CHUI, listen me =) i have tested with z80 to normal and MAGICIAN LORD work OK with full SOUND and FX,
KOF 96 don't give me problems in beta 3 , in beta 2 had the problem of comands.
But the others games wich have write
KOF95
REAL BOUT 2 NEWCOMMERS have this problem to comands UP and DOWN, in beta 2 work perfectly.
for samurai spirit 2 is mute, in beta 2 IS OK
i am not tested other
i am sure at 200% =| excuse me chui if have put this problems but there are.

Great release man... It's much smoother to use than BETA 2.

I've only tested 3 games so far. On a PAL-E system with Default settings.

Fatal Fury - No sound at all. In BETA 2 it had all sound but played them in the wrong order.

Metal Slug 2 - Only problem I found was that there were no sound effects on the options menu and character select menu. Once your ingame the sound is great, same with the demo mode.

Samurai Shodown 4 - Perfect. Really perfect. Even the backgrounds are now the right speed. Brilliant. :)

I'll test more when I can get my mitts on them.

I have only tested Last resort, in Beta 2 there is music (CDDA, i presume ...) in beta 3, there's no music at all ...

I'va have no controller problem at all ...

Yes, it's very strange, i play Last Resort with music yesterday.

I supose any threathed cd-audio problem, but IronClad never work properly.

I'll retry Last Resort on Beta 3 after work ...

Just a few more question :

- i haven't try original game with beta 3, but it seems that original games not working with beta 2 on my PAL DC ... (i've tryed street hoop,samourai shodown 3, and fatal fury 3).
Is it normal (it says that it didn't have cd inserted) ?

- Another stupid question ... Is it possible to have a Pal 50Hz version ?

- Where can i find help on "installing" your SDL Drivers ?
I have a cygwin installed, and "classic" SDL and i successfully coding an alpha version of a shoot em up.
But it run only at 30 Fps. I'd like to try your SDL version, i know it isn't the good topic, but if you can redirect me on some help, it would be great !!

For using my SDL Dreamcast driver you need a modern kallistios and follow usage steps (http://chui.dcemu.co.uk/sdl.html#Usage). Try to compile the examples.

About CPS1, i don't understand you. I haven't a CPS1 emu and i'm not working it. MAME4ALL is a future project, maybe i will start at 2006.

NEO4ALL only runs NeoGeo/CDROM, no roms. You only need neogeo/cd bios image file. After, you will can swap cdrom when will run neo4all.

Try NeoCD/SDL Selfbooter (http://consolevision.com/members/fackue/prj_ngcdselfboot.shtml). I created it for NeoDC awhile ago, but since Neo4All has the same disc structure as NeoDC it will work just fine.

no, it plays neocd discs. There are no ROMS of a disk either. I assume you mean images.

Chui - I have been testing Neo4All with my X-Arcade controller hooked to the dreamcast and it works great except for one problem - the player two joystick / buttons / start button on the X-Arcade does not seem to be recognised by Neo4All - none of the controls work :( If you are not familiar with the xarcade the connection from it just splits into two DC controller connections. Do you think this could be fixed? I hope so. It would be great to use my X-Arcade for proper 2 player fatal fury sessions!

<edit> just noticed if i plug only the player 2 connection in and then boot into neo4all, player 2 works but player 1 does not work once plugged back in...

I have not a x-arcade joy, sorry. but you must plug your joysticks before neo4all runs.
I only have 1 dragoncast arcade joystick (cheap version :D ) and works ok.

Anybody have any joysticks problem?

i am plugging both x-arcade joystick connections in before i switch the DC on...neo4all does not recognise ther being two joysticks in, it only responds to the joystick in port one. works fine with my dc controller tho.

i've been testing and i like the fixed screen ratio. also been playing metal slug 2 and i can't save/load properly. i save then turn off the DC. turn it back on and load neo4all b3, but it says my mem card is not formated. i just did it before. no saves load up either.

anyone have the same problem.

Really good release, apart from not playing sound in Sam Sho 1 and 2, which are the main two NEO CD games I use! I'll just keep beta 2 for them.

KoF95 runs brilliantly though!

I love the new loading screen, love the new aspect ratio/resolution etc.

Anyway - thanks for all the work!
