After the notice of the existence of a virus for the PSP. Now comes an aplication that works like an anti-virus for PSP, basicly what this tool does is look for suspicious code onde PSP main files. Let's have a look what the readme of the program shows:

PSafeP is a windows tool to scan Sony PSP executable (EBOOT.PBP) files for suspicious code.

pretty cool, hopefuly it'll protect people from getting screwed by fake homebrew. have you tested it with a PSP file knowen to have malicious code to see if it correctly picks it up? because I scanned the downgrader and PSP personalize and it gave me a warning with both of those

Those detections are invalid, it does detect that downgrader is a virus but it isn't don't worry about that files..
the only files you need to take care of are the file system in core folder in psp. :)
