Ron (http://www.dreamcast.es/news.php?readmore=124) has released his Commodore 64 Emulator for Dreamcast, heres the release details:

Some already know that I'm going through the stage MBC and turns with Panera, which symbolically and in key humor is how I see the Commodore Vic 20 and 64.

This version is a port of the version that DreamFrodo 0.94 ported Tolga Abaci based on the 4.1 Frodo by Christian Bauer.

Initially developed to run on a version of KOS (0.9 * 1.0 + newlib) very primitive (version 2001 * 2002), and therefore not incompatible with the compiler toolchains current version is updated from 1.3 to KOS (KallistiOS 1.3 svn updated to 561) is the DreamFrodo 0.94 (2002). Therefore it comes to the rescue emulator and make it available to update with more modern tools.

Well, all you enjoy the C64 already have an emulator with a lot of options, all functional and above all the more surprising is its speed. This first version alpha is activated emulation unit 1541, which recommend that disable for greater compatibility and Joystick default is switched to port2 of C64 (most of the games use).

Supports two Pads connected keyboard and Dreamcast, has a virtual keyboard which is accessed through the X button to access the main menu emulator simply pressing START. Being totally lost in Castilian not be getting any for guiding the options.

In principle should open zip files, but yet has given me time to try it, so appeal to all those who want to collaborate with the development and updating of emulator doing the work of beta testing. You can post your views and comments.

Have lots of BUGS, are visible if you fijais, such as the blitteo depending on which games, so the most important thing is to go for future corrections detecting anything that improves the emulator on loyalty and quality.

In short days after a cleaning source publishing sources, which actually unchanged except all parts of KOS who have had to be rewritten to work in environments up to date.

In this version my thanks to my great teacher Troy Davis, aka GPF and my good colleagues Indiket and Guaripolo stamina when I'm in a trance DC.

Oh, that's nice. The existing Frodo port sure could use some improvments (accurate low-res-display, saving disks like in UAE4all, a little more stability). Ron is a on a roll, it seems.

This is going to be Awesome. We all know how Ron and his people do things up realll purdy.... I'm a waitin' for this one to be polished up, ohhh yeah.
Ron- You guys never cease to amaze me.
A question, though, isn't there a better open source C=64 emulator you guys can tear the core out of, or will this one be built up from what it was to what you want it to be.
Quite Promising.
Cheers.
