An external battery charger especially designed for both PSP / PSP Slim and Lite to provide 3600mAh battery power supply. The enclosed USB plug can provide power supply from any USB products.

That's cool. I might actually get one of these. It would be great for trips that you don't have electricity available.

the original price was 25 bucks, which you could just buy a generic battery for

but for 16 bucks, this is pretty cool

little unclear on the usb function

lets say i drain my psp

i drain this thing

can i use the usb to directly power the psp?

bzzt NO, i already have a usb cord with a psp jack, it takes FOREVER to charge the battery, and not nearly enough ma to power the psp

so is this the only way to charge this thing? (it takes a few days to fully charge my 3600mah psp battery from completely dead tru usb)

USB supplies 100mA @5V as standard, and the device can request more up to 500mA.

The AC adapter has a rated output of 2000mA (2A) @ 5V, so at least in theory if the PSP is asking for all the power it can get it really shouldn't take 2 days to charge via USB vs 2-3 hours for AC adapter.
