I am having problems downgrading, i have used MPH files. Transfered the eboot, overflow.tif, h.bin and index.dat onto the memory stick.
Then i go to PHOTO and memory stick which gives me a black screen with numbers. I then switch off PSP after 30seconds and then switch back on with power connected and check system info, which says it is now V 1.00.
I now go to GAME and memory stick which gives me a message corrupt data cannot play game.

What do i do at this point???

You download the 1.5 update from the link in the readme or get one from here: http://www.psphacks.net/files/PSPFirmwares/

Then you put the eboot in /PSP/GAME/UPDATE/ on your memory stick. You run that eboot and follow the instructions. At the end when the progress bar reaches 99%, it will give you an error. You restart the PSP when this error appears after waiting a few seconds just to be safe. Then the PSP should have a message saying that the settings are corrupted, press "O" to fix it. Now it will reboot and guide you through setting up the PSP.

I heard that for some people if they pull the battery instead of pressing "O" they can keep the web browser but i dont know if this is true
