drk||Raziel (http://www.emudev.org/drkIIRaziel/?p=17) has posted some very interesting news for fans of his Dreamcast Emulator and also those interested in getting a Pandora Console (http://pandora.dcemu.co.uk) and owners of PS3 (http://ps3-evolution.dcemu.co.uk) and Nintendo Wii (http://wii-news.dcemu.co.uk)

After the code is cleaned up/rewriten there are plans to port to pandora and possibly other consoles (wii seems like a nice target, ps3 if theres a way to get 3D access). ALL THIS MAY(OR MAY NOT) COME AFTER THE CODE IS REWRITEN, SO DONT ASK ABOUT IT NOW(you’l just waste your time, realy). The code will be open sourced as soon as it gets stable.

Videos of Null DC here (http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=125872)

Remember the Dreamcast (http://dreamcast.dcemu.co.uk/) has a ton of homebrew that me accessible through this emulator.

Ya, they've been rewriting the code to run on lower specs than a PC. The main goal was to get it running on PSP, don't know if they have yet.

So will this play the actual discs?
Cause I'd rather order them from a store online or something than download a huge disc.

You will need to get the image and then burn it on a CD-R probably.

I'm not sure if the Wii can use CD-Rs, I know it's now possible to run DVD-Rs which might be the best choice for these games with 4.7GB free to hold a good collection of great DC games. Most of the games though can sit easily on a 2GB SD card, or even a 1GB, but I hope somehow the Wii is fixed so it can read bigger SD cards.

This is great news though, finally I can play the rest of the great Dreamcast games I've been wanting to play on a console like like Space Channel 5, Dead or Alive 2, Jet Grind Radio, REZ, Shenmu, Street Fighter 3, and I can finally have Marvel vs. Capcom 2 on a console without having to pay $80 for it on my PS2 ><

Its good news but will obviously increase piracy. I would like to see one on the Xbox 360, it should be possible with XNA.

Maaaaan, so wanting this. This way I can have the whole collection of soul Calibur and be able to play it. the only one I'm missing if the original Soul Calibur. I already have Soul edge, 2 (PS2 and GC versions), 3 and 4!!!!

I'd rather be by cd image stores either on sd or usb

It will most likely use the dvd-rs because having an image that big on an sd card along with other applications and such would suck. However there are 4 gig non sdhc sd cards. I found several at tigerdirect.com and i guess it could work. I think though that the isos should be put on a dvd-r. They shouldn't be burned onto a dvd-r as an image because it would waste a lot of space considering dreamcast isos are not very big. The dvd-r should have the isos written on it as DATA. it would make things so much easier.

Seeing how the emulators work, I think you need to burn it as an image.

DC emu for wii would be amazing, especially for 2d shooters and 2d fighters.

I'm pretty sure you'd end up having to load it off of a hard drive, sd card, etc.
