This is a pic from the latest issue Official Playstation Magazine, revealing that Left 4 Dead will be coming to Playstation3. It will be ported by EA (remember The Orange box for the PS3). Lets hope the do a better job this time.

The Orange Box wasnt that bad of a port tbh.

I never had any framerate problems etc.

This is good or bad news. Depends which way you look at it.

Perhaps EA should stick to making Fifa and Black!

I'm really glad to see Left4Dead coming to PS3. Not so glad to see EA is doing it, after its issues with developing The Orange Box. But I'll give them a chance. They've done The Orange Box and should now know better how to "port" this Valve game properly.

I like a wide range of companies for PS3, EA is one of them.

According to IGN (http://au.ps3.ign.com/articles/896/896281p1.html), Valve's Doug Lombardi has stated that there is no PS3 version of Left 4 Dead under development.

While there have been rumors circulating the Internet that claim that Left 4 Dead, Valve's upcoming zombie-filled shooter for the PC and 360, would be coming to the PS3, it looks like there's no truth behind them. We contacted Doug Lombardi from Valve to comment on the rumor and his response was clear: "there is no PS3 version of Left 4 Dead currently in production."

It appears that PS3 owners are out of luck -- at least for now.

Big disappointment. Apparently, the spot where it was mentioned in the Official PlayStation Magazine was "simply a bullet point in a regular rumors column" (http://www.ps3fanboy.com/2008/08/05/valves-doug-lombardi-denies-ps3-version-of-left-4-dead/).
