(8/2/08) Today we’ve got a few new pictures from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, mostly showing off the wreckage of the Enchanted Oak. Our photographer noticed that it seems that they are saving the old restrooms and kitchen facilities however. There is also a sign up with the new 2010 opening date listed.
(8/1/08) I’m not sure how long it has been listed this way, but the official Wizarding World of Harry Potter pages now list the new land as opening in 2010 and has removed any mention of 2009. They’ve also released a new piece of concept artwork on the site showing off the inside of the Three Broomsticks restaurant, to be located in Hogsmeade in the Gallery section. If you look closely at the photo you will also notice that a few of the kids in the restaurant are holding their very own magic wands, which only serves to reinforce the rumor that a Harry Potter themed version of MagiQuest will be present as well. Meanwhile you can see a bunch of photos showing off the empty Enchanted Oak site posted over at Orlando Rocks.
