Age of nations is a Lua coded RTS Homebrew,based on AOE PC game. It still has basic features.

[General]
Code rewrite Entirely
New Graphics
Added tables management system for units and building
Added timers for animations
Added walking animations for units
Map scroll removed.Will be added soon.

[Gameplay]
Player has ressources to manage: Food, gold, wood.
Possibility to create new units: Each units created requires a certain quantity of food, which reduce food ressources.
Each units created is independant from others.It has its own health, his own job, and many other things.
The Population Limit is fixed to 20 units.
Each unit can look for food, look for wood on a map, to increase the player ’s ressources.Just give him the order.
All natural ressources such as wood and fruits are limited.When there's no more ressources on a tree, it disappears from the map.


[Units]
Four types of units can be created:
*Peasants: they're dealing with the natural ressources and building tasks
*Soldiers
*Archers
*Riders
Note: Ai haven't been coded so military type units has no tasks.



Peasants can build Houses.
Peasants can build Barracks.These builds are used to make military units.
Peasants can build Towers.

Commands
---------

Directional Pad/Joystick to move the selector on the screen
Cross to select a unit/building/ressource.when selected its current properties appears on he board.
Circle to deselect anything selected
Select opens A System Menu, with exitting options

[How to Collect ressources:]
Select a Peasant unit.Thus click on any pont on the map to move him.Simply click on a ressource to order him collecting this.

[Knowbugs] Sometimes the unit reaches the waypoint and stands up.Select him again to ask him doing the task.


[How to build]
Select a peasant unit.Click with cross button over the buiding type you want, according to reamaining ressources you have. Thus click with triangle button on the map where you want the house to be built.

[Knowbugs]SomeTimes buiding tasks don't work on PSP.But it works with LuaPlayerWindows on PC.I'll try fixing it later.

Installation:
-------------
The game is Fat and Slim compatible.
Copy the RTS folder and its contents on your MS into ms0:/PSP/GAME/ folder.

The other folder name RTS_PC is playable game for PC.Simply run the Application named bêta located int his folder and then load the "index.lua" file.

I've started a new update of the project, and the code will be rewrite entirely.What i've already coded

* Map Scrolling Feature
* More Natural ressources to Collect
* Added Units creation
* Walking animation for units did
* All units can go anywhere on the map
* Two bugs fixed concerning unit moving.

this is looking good as i dont think there anything like this for the psp
and it something i would like just cos i like Civilization or similar :)

This is looking really great man.

I like the new cursor, I was going to comment about the old one. :D

If you need any help with anything I'm pretty good at lua and I'm loving your project.

Although my PSP is broken and my other isn't hacked yet, I would love to help out with this in any way you need.

New Updates

Added Ressources Display on the Whole map
Added TownCenter Display on the map.You've to scroll down a lot to see this.
Added Player's Towncenter Burning animation.This will be when AI attacks.

You should make an ash pile appear for a while.

someone already gave me the same idea..
only have to look for ash pile sprites...

new update:

I've ended the peasants creation function.
Now you can create peasants..and great thing...when u select many, thy picture won't match on the same destination..this was a bug that many of u noticed..Now fixed!

New Updates of the day:

I've added Differents types of selector.It changes according to the type of ressources you are pointing on.
Now units can collect all type of ressources: Food, Wood, Gold, Stone,anywhere on a 960*816 map size.
I've also added a collision engine between units.they wopn't match their pic on the same destination, or the same work.

the selector becomes a hammer when on a tree
