Telltale Games says the first episode of WiiWare and PC adventure series Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People will be available on 11th August.

Homestar Ruiner is the first of five planned instalments (one each month) based on the apparently funny Homestar Runner animated internet series. Confusing, but keep up.

Strong Bad, a boxer who wears a mask, confesses he is "charming", "suave", "muscular", and "awesome". His plan, in episode one, is to win a Race to the End of the Race - a scheme which gets messed up when an unwanted visitor comes to stay.

Telltale, of Sam & Max renown, is working closely with the Homestar Runner creators to make sure everything is accurate and hilarious.

PC pre-orders for the entire Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People are open on the Telltale website now. One episode is USD 8.95 (GBP 4.50), or the entire series can be snaffled up for USD 34.95 (GBP 17.50).

On WiiWare, each episode costs 1000 Wii Points (approx GBP 7.00 / EUR 10.00).

Man I can't wait for this game, even though it originally said it was gonna come out in June! Oh well, just five more days!

"Apparently funny"? Boo eurogamer. Snobbery doesn't suit you.

"1000 Wii Point"? Yay, nice price!

Let's hope the game's good as I'm looking forward to it.
