As the trickle of releases for PSP quickly becomes a torrent, we're starting to notice some definite groupings. Alongside the original titles and the shrunken PS2 games, there's the old school classic that's been brought back from beyond the grave for some portable afterlife.
Sitting firmly in this camp is Sony's release of the rodent puzzler Lemmings - a game that first appeared in 1990 and has entertained over five million gamers in its various guises.
The point of the 2D game is to curb the suicidal tendencies of the Lemmings by successfully guiding them through each level. This is achieved allocating different roles to the line of lemmings - one to block, others to dig or even all of them to float or climb.
It's a test of strategy and timing and, due to the bite-sized nature of the gaming, perfect for PSP.
As well as there being 150 levels to play, a level editor will allow you to design your own challenges to share with other gamers.
Lemmings will be released for PSP early next year
