This seems a little useless.

1. I don't think anything coming out of my PSP's speakers would wake me up
2. You'd better not plan on sleeping any longer than the battery life of your PSP (maybe clocking the app at 1mhz would help that, or plugging it in)

This would be a whole lot less useless for anyone that has a PSP dock and keeps it in their room but seriously, I'm not about to leave my PSP turned on for 8 hours to use it as an alarm.

Well I actually keep it turned on and with the AC plugged on a bedside table so this could be quite useful. I'm sure it will benefit other people as well.

You should make it so the alarm goes off even when your PSP is in sleep mode. So basically the PSP comes off of sleep mode and wakes your a** up...

I came up with this idea months ago. The idea was to have a program that woke the PSP up from sleep mode at a set time and played an MP3 from your music directory of your choice. Shouldn't be that hard to encode...

Don't like this piece of shit... Waste of coding time, if you ask me...

I use an alarm called sleep n' wake for PSP. Basically you have two folders, one for sleep and one for wake. YOu put the songs you want to fall asleep to in the sleep... etc.

Anyways, the good thing about this is that after the last song in your sleep folder has played, it shuts the PSP off and turns it back on at the wake time that you've set, so it doesn't run the PSP dry when you are sleeping.

the larm from ir shell does that. unfortunately only if you're in the ir shell menu thing. if not the alrm won't go off. but as long as you're in ir shell you can cut it off and it'll still go off.
