Prime Number Searcher is a homebrew developed by voldemort09, to calculate the maximum possible prime numbers, since the PSP.

What is a prime number?

A little math, it does not hurt.

A prime number is a number that can not admit that 2 dividers among the natural numbers (positive integers, such as 1,2,3,4 ...).

These dividers 2 and 1 being himself. A small example: 4 admits as dividers in natural: 1 (4 / 1 = 4), 2 (4 / 2 = 2), 4 (4 / 4 = 1), this is not a prime number. 2 admits as dividers in natural: 1 (2 / 1 = 2), 2 (2 / 2 = 1) is therefore a prime number.
Knowing that there's a infinities of prime numbers.

But what is it then that homebrew? It's simple, if you do not know if 983 is a prime number or not, you can draw your PSP!

At the same way that the homebrew which calculates the decimal point of Pi, it is interesting that on his algorithm.

The numbers are saved in PrimeNumberLOG.txt lying in the dossier PSPGAMEPrime Numbers Searcher of your Memory Stick.
