Square Enix will launch Final Fantasy IV in Europe and other PAL territories on September 5, exclusively on DS.

John Yamamoto, president of Square Enix, gushed, "Final Fantasy IV is one of the most significant titles in the history of the franchise. It has been remarkably enhanced for the Nintendo DS, making it a great opportunity for our fans to experience its deep story and ground-breaking battle system in an exciting and innovative new way".

The DS version features "improved 3D graphics, fully-voiced cut-scenes, an inspiring remixed score and additional never before seen content" says Square.

Sounds good. Loads of new shots here (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/viewer.php?mode=article&id=202670). Enjoy.

Best remake since Resident Evil GC. The graphics are really nice. Not up to PSP in quality, but wins with style.
The translation is perfect and full of unique charm. The voices really help you get the feel for the characters, and are very high quality. And most importantly the challenge has been increased quite a bit. Even normal fights later on will destroy the unprepared.
Sure, the haters will say, "Where's the GBA extras?" "Teh voices aren't as good as the Japanese version." "Why make on DS? GFX SUX." I say, whatever. This is a great childhood memory reborn, and I love every moment of it. Buy it! [/B]
