Anyway to load a NDS rom without the passme hardware?

I am wondering if i have the EZF 2, can I load NDS rom into the card and load it without the help of a passme hardware?

im not to sure but i would say no. trying to run a DS rom with out the passme is like trying to run a gamecube game on the N64. because its running off the GBA hardware
